Canelli In Teatro

The Egri Foundation for Dance is proud to present the new season “Canelli in Teatro”, with the title “Rigenerare”. This year, more than ever, the season aims to give new life to the Teatro Balbo, making it return to the center of Canelli's cultural life. Through a program that ranges from dance, prose and music, the “Rigenerare” season wants to incubate the idea of a theater as a place of rebirth, aggregation and artistic growth.

The season is divided into four main sections, designed to involve a large and varied audience, connecting the theatre with the city and its inhabitants.

Canelli In Theater

The heart of the season focuses on the Teatro Balbo, with a series of shows ranging from contemporary dance to prose and music. Through collaboration with nationally and internationally renowned companies and artists, the theater becomes a space for cultural regeneration, offering the public artistic experiences of the highest quality.

Canelli for the Theater

This section is dedicated to in-depth activities and dialogue with the public, such as workshops, meetings and debates. The aim is to create a bridge between spectators and artists, actively involving citizens in the process of rediscovering and valorising the theatre. “Regenerate” here means bringing the public closer to culture and stimulating a new awareness of performing art.

Canelli outside the Theater

The season is not limited to the stage of the Teatro Balbo, but expands to various suggestive locations in Canelli, including squares, historic cellars and period buildings. These spaces become the scene of site-specific performances, jam sessions and artistic installations. Rigenerare is also an invitation to experience the city through the arts, rediscovering its history and architectural beauty.

Canelli In Kids Theater

This section is dedicated to the little ones and their families, with a program designed to bring young people closer to the world of theater. Through interactive shows, creative workshops and adaptations of fairy tales and classic stories, children will be involved in an educational and fun experience. Regenerating also means cultivating the future of theater, stimulating in the youngest a love for art and culture.
