
AFED (Egri Dance Higher Education)
AFED (Alta Formazione Egri Danza) is a two-year program of excellence dedicated to young adult dancers, designed to accompany them in the transition to the profession. The course, which takes place from September to June, offers a complete training that goes beyond physical preparation, also including a solid cultural and artistic base and fundamental tools for managing work in professional companies.

Our Goals
The AFED program aims to train dancers ready to enter the world of professional dance. In addition to perfecting technique and expression, the course provides critical and artistic skills, essential for a successful career. Students acquire not only advanced physical preparation, but also a deep understanding of the art of dance and the tools necessary to successfully navigate the professional context.
AFED participants, thanks to the training they receive, are prepared to undertake a career in the world of professional dance. Collaborations with renowned choreographers and participation in real performances and projects give students the experience and visibility necessary to enter the world of dance with competence and confidence.

Advanced Classical Technique
Perfecting the essential technical skills for a professional dancer
Choreology and Movement Analysis
Study of choreology, including the technique of writing and movement analysis developed by Rudolf Laban
Work Management
Integrated modules that prepare students for professional career management, with practical sessions oriented towards performance and management of stage dynamics
Advanced Classical Technique

Composition and Improvisation
Development of creative and choreographic skills, with a focus on choreographic composition
Contemporary Dance and Innovation
In-depth study of modern techniques and new choreographic trends
Dance History and Criticism
In-depth study of the historical and theoretical contexts that influence contemporary dance
Registrations and Selections
Access to the AFED program is reserved for adult dancers who pass the auditions, demonstrating a high level of technical and artistic preparation. The two-year course requires an intense and continuous commitment, with the aim of training professionals capable of excelling in the world of dance.
