A new season to look at the world from different perspectives, be surprised by unexpected languages, and encounter stories capable of raising new questions. This is the spirit of Canelli in Teatro 2026/2027 , which returns to the Teatro Balbo with "Nuovi Sguardi," a program designed to explore the contemporary scene in its many forms and to strengthen the dialogue between artists, audiences, and the local community.

" Nuovi Sguardi " was born from the desire to offer audiences a program that surprises and, at the same time, creates new ways of experiencing theater. Drama, dance, music, and performance languages meet in a journey that brings together established artists and companies with new creative experiences, offering different perspectives on the present and the transformations of contemporary society.

The season's focus remains on the audience, not just as spectators, but as active participants in a shared cultural experience. The theater thus becomes a space for connection, discussion, and discovery, capable of sparking curiosity and forging connections between generations, sensibilities, and diverse communities.

Canelli in Teatro's proposal is aimed at a broad and transversal audience: enthusiasts and regulars, but also those approaching live entertainment for the first time, families, the younger generations and all those who wish to be involved in an artistic experience.

The season also features a series of events and projects that extend the experience beyond the performance. Meetings with artists, opportunities for further study, activities for schools, and initiatives throughout the region contribute to building a path of participation and an understanding of the languages of the contemporary scene.

With "Nuovi Sguardi," Canelli in Teatro renews its mission to be an open, dynamic, and inclusive space: a space where you can experience art, but also pause to observe the present with fresh eyes.
