This summer, contemporary dance moves beyond the Teatro Balbo and transforms Canelli into a multi-purpose stage. Three venues, one program from June to September: PALAZZOIRREALE, the Moncalvina Amphitheater, and the Teatro Balbo host some of the most exciting talents on the Italian scene.

Performers on the program include Gruppo Nanou with "Redrum," winner of the 2024 UBU Award for best dance performance; Daniele Ninarello (Codeduomo); Compagnia EleinaD; HUNT Contemporary Dance Company; and Megakles Ballet/Compagnia Petranuradanza. The season closes with the Empathy Project by Ricombinata Dance In, a contemporary dance and integrated theater production that brings together professional dancers with and without disabilities, winner of the Ministry of Culture's Accessibility Call.

New to this edition are the artistic residencies at the Teatro Balbo: companies from various Italian regions will work on new creations, with presentations open to the public. This is an opportunity to delve into the heart of the creative process and meet the artists in the midst of their work.

Events at PALAZZOIRREALE and residency restitutions are free admission. Performances at the Moncalvina Amphitheater and the Balbo Theater cost €10 each.
