The Egri Foundation is proud to present a rich and diverse artistic program, featuring performances, events, and cultural projects designed to offer unforgettable experiences. Our mission is to promote and spread dance as both an art form and a tool for cultural dialogue.

Recognized as a Centro di Rilevante Interesse per la Danza, the Foundation presents its program through a range of initiatives.

At the heart of our activities is IPUNTIDANZA, a production and programming network that connects a number of cities across Piedmont: Verbania with the MAGGIORE_DANZA season, Vigliano Biellese with ERIOS IN MOVIMENTO, and Canelli with CANELLI IN TEATRO. These seasons are complemented by the INTERSCAMBI COREOGRAFICI series in Saronno, Cuneo, and Vercelli.

The program is further enriched by special projects such as DANZA OLTRE LE BARRIERE, IN.CON.TRA, and DANZA A KM0, as well as joint programs with the Casa del Teatro Ragazzi e Giovani in Turin and with Districts 1 and 6.

LA SETTIMANA DELLA DANZA

From July 4 to 12, 2026 , the Teatro Il Maggiore in Verbania will host a week of workshops with international masters and three unmissable performances . On July 5 , the Handel Evening will be held with the Orchestra Camerata Strumentale Acquese and the Balletto Teatro Torino and EgriBiancoDanza companies. On July 8 , the Dar Corpo allo Spazio #6 format will guide the audience through three performances in different areas of the theater, offering a unique opportunity to explore the Teatro Maggiore. Finally, on July 11 , it will be the turn of The Barber of Seville with the ArtemisDanza Company .

CANELLI IN TEATRO SUMMER

Following the winter season, Canelli In Teatro presents its Summer program, expanding beyond Teatro Balbo to include several locations throughout the city of Canelli. Dance merges with the PALAZZOIRREALE museum spaces, offering audiences an immersive experience of contemporary art. Furthermore, the natural setting of the La Moncalvina Amphitheater will be animated by dance, while Teatro Balbo will host artistic residencies that will allow visitors to discover new productions created in the city's spaces.

INTERSCAMBI COREOGRAFICI CUNEO

After a year of events at the Teatro Toselli in Cuneo, the dance season moves to the Spazio f'Orma, located in the Gesso and Stura River Park, for a summer event. On July 3rd , the latest production by the EgriBiancoDanza Company, directed by Raphael Bianco , will be performed. The show explores the human universe through the art of weaving; accompanied by Monteverdi 's madrigals, Bianco highlights the subtle threads that seem to guide our destiny: the mystery of life, love, and death intertwined with Monteverdi's song.

INTERSCAMBI COREOGRAFICI SARONNO

within IPUNTIDANZA - Egri Foundation, a Center of Significant National Interest for Dance

in collaboration with the Giuditta Pasta Theatre for the RADICI season

The dance program for the 2026/2027 theater season, RADICI, is part of IPUNTIDANZA, the Egri Foundation's network in Piedmont. The title, RADICI, is intertwined with the Foundation's history and the centenary of the birth of Susanna Egri, celebrated for her impact on European dance. The program includes Susanna Egri: The Centenary, an event honoring her legacy and the origins of the EgriBiancoDanza Company. The season will also feature significant creations such as Scritto sul mio corpo, accompanied by the Bowland trio, and will continue with M'illumino d'immenso and Lo Schiaccianoci. Additionally, Compia Abbondanza/Bertoni will present the production Femina, enriching the program with their expertise in contemporary dance.

From September to November 2026, shows, performances, workshops, and participatory activities will involve artists, schools, associations, citizens, and communities in the Turin area, through a widespread, multidisciplinary program spanning the 6th district.

A journey that connects dance, music, circus, and education and that, through art and culture, helps overcome cultural and social barriers, enhancing local communities and transforming everyday spaces into places of connection and participation.
