MYSTERY SONATA was born with the intention of being a “modular” performance, which can be dismantled and assembled according to the spaces in which it takes place. A show that has no real beginning or end. The questions that the choreographer asks himself are the following: Where is the beginning and the end of our actions and what remains of the others of us? What is the reality of the nature of things? (our visible or the impalpable one, dark and unknown to us but that surrounds us, or both?). And above all what is the relationship between the two?

This last piece is inspired by Descartes’ theories on existence and is entrusted to two interesting figures of young contemporary dance: Daniele Ninarello and Marco Chenevier.

Starting from the EartHeart in situ experiential path, which as the play on words in English suggests combines the word heart with the word earth, the EgriBiancoDanza Company, under the guidance of the choreographer Raphael Bianco, reshapes the experiences lived within different ecosystems by projecting the essence towards the dramaturgical and theatrical dimension of the gesture, translating the concrete experience into an abstract dimension while preserving its experiential memory.
