Fondazione Egri per la Danza, established in 1998, continues and develops the activity undertaken since 1953 by the Centro di Studio della Danza, created by Susanna Egri: a centre for the study, creation and promotion of Dance.
ROOTS, FREEDOM, CREATION, SHARING
Fondazione Egri per la Danza operates on a cultural, social and educational level, and its main statutory aims include: promoting, producing and disseminating dance in collaboration with other institutions, encouraging the teaching of the art of dance to young people, also by means of scholarships, promoting and participating in study and research initiatives and publishing texts, promoting and deepening research into forms and expressions in line with the aesthetic thought of our time, contributing to improving the public’s taste and critical sense, supporting young choreographers in their affirmation and research. The initiatives are aimed at different audiences from children to the elderly. All types are transversal to social groups and professions.
