Between 2015 and 2016 the EgriBiancoDanza company decided to set up an evening entirely dedicated to Igor Stravinsky uniting in one event two historical ballets of its repertoire:


Raphael Bianco explores in this creation the feelings of restlessness of both the spouses obliged to confly to the wedding. There is in this version a veded social critique to the perpetuating of combined marriages in some cultures, which in part survive also in the West.



The “festival” is centered on the rites of human sacrifices imposed by ancestral communities for propitiatory purposes. But in today’s world what “sacrifices” can require society to ensure survival? This is Raphael Bianco’s answer with his personal choreographic version.
