Faust is a production in collaboration with Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo.
Together with the young visual artist Matteo Stocco, Raphael Bianco faces the second section of the trilogy of civilization started with “Orlando”, the two artists present a new perspective of reading Goethe’s Faust in which an important role is played by the vain Omnipotence of the web and where the choice of the choreographic installation allows to aggregate different performative codes.
The focus of the shared research between Bianco and Stocco, is the comparison with knowledge, even the most underground and the most secret.
Immersing himself in a sound, visual and gestural abyss, the Spectator is accompanied and urged to fathom impulses, situations and feelings unspeakable and incontestable but at the same time extremely attractive.
Prohibited practices that arouse curiosity more morbid and permeate the human soul, which remains, however: an unknowable mystery beyond all knowledge.
