The theme is the pursuit of peace. The ballet evokes, as it seems to suggest Part, the ever-increasing need to take refuge in transcendence that remains the last hope of salvation in opposition to a disenchanted and violent world.
Raphael White represents a humanity adrift, overwhelmed by events, that in the desire for an absolute truth hopes to find peace, not without colliing with the questions and uncertainties that the same search for faith entails. The ballet has been conceived for a central plan space but it is suited also to traditional stages.
