MYSTERY SONATA was created with the intent to be a “modular” show, which can be disassembled and assembled according to the spaces in which it takes place. A spectacle that has no real beginning or an end.
Conceived expressly for the spaces of the Fondazione Sandretto re Rebaudengo, which also favoured the meeting of the choreographer Raphael Bianco with the duo Alis/Filliol, with whom the project of this first version of the show was perfected and shared. In the form of installation.
The founding themes of the show are the co-presence of more realities and spatial dimensions (and their reciprocal influence), the spiritual inheritance and its direct or indirect echo.
The questions that the choreographer poses are as follows:
Where are the beginning and the end of our actions and what remains of us to others? What is the reality of the nature of things? (Our visible or the impalpable, obscure and unknown to us but around us, or both?). And especially what is the relationship between the two?
